history of my past fictional crushes and platonic faves
Hey- welcome to the page,, This will be a list of fictional crushes of the past, and well.. how i came to have main f/os. I will explain each of them around about how I discovered and lived my childhood and fandom life in it.. Since I was born in 1999, I grew loving movies around the 2000s in general , and the ones that came from the 90s.
For anyone who grew around that year, or whatever decade... Fictional crushes happen everywhere to any other, it doesn't matter who.. And this is completely normal! There's nothing wrong about it, though you might be a bit embarrassed talking about it.. And this will become obvious that in childhood, you won't know what f/os are,, but you can just call it.. favorite characters.
2003 - An American Tail: Fievel Goes West
Okay- this is probably.. PROBABLY my first childhood crush.. I dont remember how many movies I've seen with this mouse, but..I was like.. four at the time and I was like a huge fan with the movie and the series,, I had to admit, my toddler self wanted a doll of Fievel though I knew that my mother didn't do what I needed because idk- there wasn't merch??? idk tbh
2005 - Chicken Little

I discovered and developed this crush when I looked over the movie, lol i was 6???? and hadda admit, I did wanted him also as a plush too (which it did came truue-) and I held on to it at all times- ^^; I think I had a picture of myself holding to it,,, but I dont know where the heck is it. If I do see it though, I will update this post and show,,
I remembered how I wasn't afraid to share my crush with the character when I was 6. and yeah,, some older kid in the grade of 6th was... bashing me for it. He kind of went like "He doesn't even have lips" qwq so that just made me hide it even more
2006 - RJ, from Over The Hedge
I was interested in watching the movie and I literally had no idea why I was attached to him when I turned 7? but maybe its the outcome of his personality at the end.. Weirdly enough I didn't knew the humor of the movie until lately- I got to rewatch it.
2007 - Mambo from Happily N'ever After
oKAY THIS? I have no idea I got attached to this cAT-LIKE CHARACTER but maybe he's an guilty pleasure f/o,,, as well-
I think maybe I got the loves to this guy because he seems adorable? and relatable?
I got to know this movie after my brother got to have it from 'Red Box'
if im honest with my 22 year old self rn,, after seeing this- theres one thing in the movie that i realized was offensive abt how Mambo joked but other than that, um :" i still relate to him. yknow i would just pretend he wouldnt say that though? just fbdshjfkhdsbg
2009 - Doctor Cockroach from Monsters inc

anyway. My brother, sister in law and I got to see the movies in 3d,, And man maybe I can understand why I do like this character?? Maybe due to his intellectual level... For sure I did remember hiding this from embarrassment
2009 - Buck from ice age
I think I would probably understand this.... His humor, intellectual level, bravery. Thats all-
I think my nine year old self knows he's very badass at some point-
I also used to want to have him as a plush, but eventually I did have a mcdonalds toy.. specifically this,,
2008 ish 2010 - Silver from sonic the hedgehog
I think I loved this character big time... and yeah,, at the era of 2008- 2010 I never discovered that the kids' 'pretend' thing was Roleplaying,, I p sure did so much research on the sonic series for a long time,, and own a couple of sonic games
half of it was silver and some other characters like Scrooge,, but mainly Silver was still a thing too-
2009 ish 2010 - Mr. L from Paper Mario
OKAY SO- probably one of the first human fictional characters to begin with...
I discovered paper mario after a site called Sheezyart,, that had some other accounts that were roleplayers of mario characters... and silly thought, I thought they were real??? and yet those are people who are also fans of these characters,,, and the series this whole time, ,
I remember the nostalgia through the site and I used to want to have the account to the art site? but it shutted down for financial problems and it was gone after 2013,,
Luckily, there's the same creators who made a different site named Ambience Gallery-
Ive also noticed about the koopalings and later Ive been so attached to them- (2021 i still do. theyre platonic for me now >:D

Had been into ben at the time i first had my RP in Nov 2013. still continued until 2014
As for England (Iggy) this was short too- after not finishing hetalia
(got into invader zim just for a short while too- but creepypasta was still an obsession since 2013-2015
Had been into Jeff at the time i first had seen Creepypasta. it was a quick growout though. this is early as 2011-2012
Alois Trancy,,, short too- in 2013-14
(also i got to see portal 1 and 2 for the first time before i knew about black butler- and soul eater
got into marx as a platonic after binge watching kirby 2011-2014
for homestuck ive been into it since 2014 as well and the characters i selected are the ones i feel so kin to- NGL HS been my comfort after years (to 2016)
also got into 2p ENG in 2015 ish, but not in a while either-
Gorillaz has been my obession (and comfort during depression) that i made noodle one of my first muses in my RP acc in qoutev. clearly this is 2015 and ongoing
2015-16 - 2021
gotten into eddsworld in the time, yet i have a very bad experience in the fandom bc of my first BF, but um... this character was still a comfort for me even after what happened-
<king dice on here tho ive gotten into him during 2018 ish. then i got into epic mickey, Twisted tales of felix
later Julian is an f/o and Ive gotten into arcana 2018. Ive finished his trail though but i havent played any more after more f/o events
2015 - 2016
gotten into purple guy Bones made in the au and ive been uh... into the artist without knowing how harmful they are. (realizing it in 2019
kokichi has been mostly my f/o in 2018 and 2019 yet this isn't just it-
puppeteer by bleeding heartworks- obviously this is 2019. this continued before,,,, the gilbert hellhole omH
2019 (around summer) IVE BEEN in LOVE. after getting into hetalia to see all the seasons and it was unexpecting bc i came to hetalia for nostalgia. Ive been (AND STILL HAVE BEEN-) in love with this man- Ive seen so much of content with him, that i honestly dont know wheres more TTvTT
(as for 2p canada it was a small crush not a big f/o tho)
then i got into stranger things 2020. Alexi is one of beloved for a short time 😔😔 idk for billy because it was a mix of love and hatred
and so my f/o list looked like this in 2019
before in 2020-2021 I fallen for Zacharie from OFF-
as for these two, i got them as platonic after i got into kuromi thO
and platonically 2021 now,,, i also enjoyed the mage sisters TTwTT
There you have it, this is a literal history of what i had so far on top of my head- these are the still current romantic f/os i fall for- (zach is definitely ok w/ by me sharing with- i think) not for Tord, Gil, Sako, Eddie though
i started to read MHA (july 12 2021) and i easily started to fall over this man.... so- I will try to consider he is the same as Gilbert though bc i was into him???
before 2022 my cousins and i went to galaxys edge one time and so that got me into star wars so i decided to take a look of the whole trilogies... and so far I enjoyed the lore content- so I made a Gilcos au in star wars- and it lasted to may
2022 in june I decided to check on season 4 in stranger things because i keep seeing spoilers so- i watched the first episode in june 19th and thats when I met this stupID AdoRABLE DORK in here- and so I fell for him and still did- bc he gave gilbert energy- DEADASS-
